‘Less’ Miles…… sick

September 21, 2009

I’ll keep things short this week, and I know fans don’t like to think of things ‘that could have been’, but rather focus on the things that ‘are’.
But…. I can’t help to continue to get frustrated when I think of the great coaches we let get away from LSU over recent years.
Instead of Les Miles, imagine what we could be doing with W. Muschamp, Jimbo Fisher, or Bo Pelini…
I can’t believe LSU let these guys get away to programs where they will ALL soon excel as head coaches….. and we have ‘less’ Miles. Sick….

Great time to buy in Pensacola before the tax credit expires!

Like every season, I’m sure we’ll agree on some things, and disagree on others. You may remember, I’m not a ‘Less’ Miles fan and last night hasn’t help me change my mind.

I would agree that WU is much improved since last year… but all excuses aside, LSU was greatly outcoached, and although we have by far the superior atheletes, our players were not prepared for the game.

The defense could not apply pressure on the QB, played way to soft in the secondary, and missed tons of tackles.
The offensive line blocked poorly on the run and the pass. They did not do a good job protecting JJ but he still played a great game.
I hate to look back, but if Miles wasn’t so stubborn on playing J. Lee last year, we still would have won 10-11 games last year with Jefferson at the helm.

We will get killed in the SEC if we play anything like this effort (or lack of).
LSU must seriously evaluate what Less Miles is not getting accomplished with the talent we have been recruiting.
Lets hope Chavis and Miles do a little more to earn their paycheck next week.
