Here are some things I think people overlook in our market which will greatly effect an agents ability to sell a home.

SW Home

What does the agent do in real estate? Why list your residential detached home with an agent that specializes in condos, or lots, or commercial property? How can they service you as well as someone that does nothing but single homes?

How close does the agent live or work to your home? I hate to say it, but with the price of gas being so high, agents will be a little reluctant to drive across town to service a listing.

How many listings does the agent have? I never list more than 8 listings at one time. I don’t see how agents can effectively monitor  15+ listings and give each one a high level of professionalism.

Just something you may want to consider BEFORE listing your home.

Well, this is the first attepmt at this blog thing. But I beleive I can use it to give you great information on buying or selling homes in Pensacola, Fl. Depending on your point of view (buyer vs seller) you could say it’s great or a wreck. There are so many homes to choose in our area that prices are getting as cheap as they were back in 2004! Now is the time if you’re ready to quit wasting money in the rental market.

If you have equity in your home, you may still want to look at upgrading to the new homes being built to a higher building codes than your current property. PLease check out my website at www.toby-moore.com for more info.
